Online therapy can be conducted in any private location with good internet connection. You may use your telephone, laptop, or tablet. You will be given a meeting ID and password to connect via Zoom. Due to licensing regulations, individuals must be located in Ohio, Michigan, Maryland, or Florida during the time of your appointment.
-
During your first appointment, we'll review the answers on your intake paperwork and explore your goals together. We will review both where you’ve been and where you want to go. We'll also discuss the therapeutic process, confidentiality, and any additional questions you have. Just like in all sessions you’re never required to share information you’re not ready to. I work every session to EARN your trust by showing up authentic in the therapy space.

The frequency of our appointments will depend on your individual needs and the treatment plan we develop together. We will work together to find a consistent day and time in the schedule that works for you. Typically, sessions occur weekly or bi-weekly. As therapy progresses and you make progress toward your goals, we reassess and adjust the frequency as needed. Open communication about your preferences and progress will guide the scheduling of our sessions to ensure the most effective and supportive therapeutic experience.

The initial appointment fee is $200. Each follow up session is $165.

Using your Out of Network (OON) coverage may provide you an opportunity to receive reimbursement from your insurance carrier.
If you utilize your OON coverage, I am required to give you a mental health diagnosis, which becomes a part of your permanent medical record.
A diagnosis can negatively affect you in the future if you apply for life insurance, go through a divorce, child custody battle, or have a high profile job that requires higher clearance (ie: pilot, law enforcement, FBI, etc).

The duration of therapy varies for each individual and depends on your specific goals and progress. Some people find relief and achieve their objectives in a few months, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. The decision to continue or conclude therapy is a collaborative process, and your voice is honored as we assess the frequency and focus of your evolving needs and goals.
