A Safe Place
Online therapy sessions with me are designed as a “safe place” where you can be with and share challenges you can’t share elsewhere. My work is about supporting you through these important, hard moments.
I work specifically with women and children in Ohio and Michigan dealing with depression, anxiety, women’s issues, parenting challenges, relationships, life adjustments, and questions about spirituality.
My approach is trauma-informed with a mind-body component. We’ll practice mindfulness, safely explore challenging emotions, and identify mind-body sensations and feelings. We’ll challenge long-forgotten, often subconscious thought patterns and safely, consciously change perspectives.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Play Therapy

- Trauma-Focused Therapy
For adults and teenagers, I primarily utilize CBT and DBT. For younger kids, I offer Play Therapy within a shared digital playroom, plus access to my Certified Therapy Dog who will often join our online sessions.

What To Expect
Our online therapy sessions will require access to a digital device with audio and video capabilities (i.e. laptop, computer, tablet, phone) and access to a private location for our appointments.
You will receive a private link to our sessions that you will use to login to every appointment.
Before scheduling your first appointment, you’ll receive an email from me with your next steps, including: how to set up and access your private client portal, how to complete intake paperwork online, and how to pay for your sessions (whether through insurance or cash-pay).
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment I require 48 hours notice.
